The PBIDS scientific leadership comprises multidisciplinary investigators from KEMRI-CGHR, CDC Kenya, and Washington State University, working jointly to advance integrated clinical, laboratory, household surveillance, and environmental surveillance in Kenya. Guided by a One Health approach, the team brings together expertise in epidemiology, infectious diseases, public health, biomedical sciences, data systems, and community-based research. Their collective leadership ensures scientific rigor, ethical stewardship, operational excellence, and the generation of high-quality evidence that informs policy, strengthens health systems, and enhances outbreak detection and response across human, animal, and environmental interfaces.
